The Russell Wilson trade is finally in the books.Denver traded three players and four draft picks across the 2022 and 2023 drafts and also swapped a 2022 draft pick in March 2022 in order to acquire the eight-time Pro Bowler.Wilson, of course, turned in the worst year of his NFL career in his debut season with the Broncos, throwing just 16 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in a 5-12 campaign. The Seahawks, meanwhile, surprised with Geno Smith at quarterback and made the playoffs before losing to San Francisco. The former Broncos who came along in the deal ranged from productive (TE Noah Fant had 50 receptions, 486 yards), to solid (DL Shelby Harris played 15 games, but was cut after season), to present (QB Drew Lock lost preseason competition to Smith). As for the draft picks that changed hands, here’s a look at the final tally:Seahawks gotYearRound (overall)Player (school)Position20221 (9)Charles Cross (Mississippi St.)OTComment: Cross turned into an immediate starter at left tackle as...Crews rescue horses trapped in Palos Verdes

Waller had more than 1,000 yards receiving in the 2019 and 2020 seasons before injuries limited his production the past two years.“It’s about coming in and keeping the tight end tradition that they have and winning as many football games as we can,” Mayer said. “That’s what this is about.
